Wheelock’s Fruits is a 3rd Generation Strawberry Farm. Ran by Margaret and Cyril Wheelock along with their three sons George, Thomas and Warren.
Growing up Cyril’s parents grew Strawberries for the jam processing market. Cyril in his late teens started to grow strawberries, planting a few drills at home in the corner of a field.
In 1990 Cyril and his wife Margaret bought eighteen acres of land at Finchogue, just a stone’s throw east of Enniscorthy town and set up their own fruit farm. Strawberries were initially planted in drills in the fields where now a days there are in tunnels and glasshouses making it easier to harvest fruit.
They began to produce their own jam in their kitchen which nowadays is enjoyed by many customers.
In 2018 they opened their restaurant, The Village At Wheelocks on the farm. Every year customers enjoy their freshly picked Strawberries and Raspberries and the offering of visitors coming to pick their own fruit is a big hit.
Our jams are made in small batches in our kitchen so you are sure to enjoy the freshness and flavour in every taste.  We only use natural ingredients, no additives or preservatives.  From our Kitchen to your table perfect for enjoying in countless ways—spread on toast, swirled into yogurt, or as a sweet touch to your favourite recipes.
