Trudies Catering Kitchen is based outside New Ross, Co. Wexford. It was set up on the 1st September 2000 by Trudie and Michael Power. Within weeks we had four additional team members and have grown continuously to 22 team members today. In 2003 business had grown considerably and we had outgrown our existing premises. We moved to our current building in May 2003 where we have grown and expanded annually. Initially we produced sandwiches and salads. We now provide a banqueting service to the domestic and corporate sector catering for functions of all sizes and all occasions.
The company has won numerous awards, most notably the EIQA National Hygiene Award for manufacturing and distribution in 2007. We were finalists in 2005 and 2006. In 2010 we also won the EIQA first place in the Processor and Producer category.
Trudies Catering Kitchen won Kilkenny County Enterprise Business Award in 2003 and also won the Opera Festival Best Overall Food Stand in 2001.
