Drizzle it on almost anything, its a great dipping sauce for a good toastie or sausage roll but also a great addition to a spagbol or curry!
While Maeve O'Malley was working in Restaurants and Cafe's surrounded by delicious food, she realised everyone went for the humble toastie whenever hunger struck.
Fast forward 4 years of developing recipes and expanding her knowledge, in April 2018 she opened Meltdown, originally as a 3 month pop-up on Stephen Street Lower.
After almost a year of development Meltdown Hot Stuff was launched. This is a delicious Habanero and Apple tomato based Hot Sauce which goes great with breakfast and of course toasties!
Despite 2020 bringing Dublin City to a standstill, Meltdown powered on and grew to a second location on Montague street with a fully seated café offering the much loved Meltdown menu in a funky and relaxed space.
