Crunchy, buttery cookies, made with 30% Irish oats and 10% plump raisins. With the unsalted Irish butter, unbleached flour, unrefined muscovado sugar and Irish free-range eggs in the recipe, these are an irresistible treat.
From the first time Jane and Richard set up that stall at Clonakilty Farmers’ Market in 2003 the standards for our biscuits have stayed the same: always the best ingredients, especially Irish butter, and absolutely nothing artificial (although we do make an exception for baking soda!).
The doughs are still all made in small batches, the cookies are portioned and shaped by hand, then baked in a traditional oven.
Because every cookie we produce is individually hand-made no two ever look exactly alike; because we use the best ingredients we can find, they are all equally delicious.
Lots of the flour, oats and other ingredients used in our range are Irish.
