    A truly dynamic family run business set up as an alternative farm enterprise situated near the heritage town of Abbeyleix, Co Laois.   Twenty years ago Helen Gee’s passion for food saw an opening to bring her family recipes back to life, and from her kitchen she started to build a brand that came from the heart. G’s Gourmet Jams are made with only the highest quality and all natural ingredients to ensure her time-honoured recipes taste just like “Granny used to make”. G’s Gourmet Jams nostalgic taste and high quality has resonated with consumers and with their continuous support the business has grown steadily over the years in both the retail and food service sectors. Our retail and food service range of products are available in local café’s and speciality food shops around the country, in many 5-star hotels and all major supermarkets.  With the success of the award-winning Jams, Marmalades and Jellies, a savoury range of Chutneys, Relishes, Sauces was added to the range and most recently a Reduced Sugar range was added to continue bring diversity to their product portfolio. “These days the business is truly a family business. Our production unit was designed by my eldest son Roy who successfully managed to blend traditional jam making methods into an efficient manufacturing unit. My Husband Cyril, rises early to prepare the fruit for the day before the rest of the staff (our extended family) arrive. Clive, our second son, is the driving force behind the Sales, Marketing and Distribution side of the business. Sandra our daughter, who has a Master of Science in Food Safety Management looks after the production and ensures that our Jams, Marmalades, Chutneys and Relishes meet the quality standards expected of our products. “ What started with one women’s passion has turned into a successful family run business from within, this family along with their dedicated staff really know how to jam pack their days. Located in the Heart of Abbeyleix, Co. Laois, Helen Gee and G’s Gourmet Jams are celebrating 20 years in business. 20 years of capturing and preserving the full round and fresh fruit flavours in every jar of Jam, Marmalade, Relish and Chutney. G’s Gourmet award winning preserves are made using only the highest quality and all natural ingredients which has resonated with consumers in their home county of Laois.
