The bakery was founded by Bobby Ditty, the father of our managing director Robert Ditty, in Castledawson in Northern Ireland back in 1963. Robert took over the business twenty years later and has overseen its continued expansion into new markets and new product ranges.But one thing we’ve never changed is our commitment to traditional methods for producing hand–crafted baked goods, and using the finest locally sourced ingredients.However, traditional doesn’t mean old–fashioned.
