Handmade with soft Irish grown oats and buttermilk – a key ingredient in Northern Irish regional baking – these oatcakes are golden and have a light, just-baked crispness.
The bakery was founded by Bobby Ditty, the father of our managing director Robert Ditty, in Castledawson in Northern Ireland back in 1963. Robert took over the business twenty years later and has overseen its continued expansion into new markets and new product ranges.
But one thing we’ve never changed is our commitment to traditional methods for producing hand–crafted baked goods, and using the finest locally sourced ingredients.
However, traditional doesn’t mean old–fashioned. We’re innovative bakers, always experimenting with new flavours and combinations, new ways to bring you fresh, exciting and above all, tasty ideas.
